Room 2: Open Textbooks in Criminal Justice

During our discussion, we will center our conversation on our extensive experience in developing and refining Open Educational Resources (OER) textbooks, as well as the process of redesigning or developing courses with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Our intention is to impart valuable insights and practical advice on the effective creation or overhaul of educational materials, ensuring they are inclusive and representative of diverse perspectives.
