Irruption de la violence comique et tentative de résolution par le juridique dans la comédie d’Aristophane (Ve siècle a.C.)
Aristophanes’ work depicts Athens in the context of a comic contest, making a mockery of its daily life and staging a grotesque, caricatured version of civic dynamics, using violence in particular to mark the difference between the time of comedy and that of the city. Using the examples of the Acharnians and the Clouds, we can see how the protagonist’s mastery of this verbal and physical violence evolves over the course of the performance, and how it enables him to push the civic legal system offstage when it tries to interfere in comic time.
