ELAZIĞ İLİNDE SEÇİLEN OKULLARDA GÜRÜLTÜ KİRLİLİĞİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

As urbanization increases in the world, it is seen that the demand for transportation and road traffic has increased greatly, and noise exposure has become inevitable, especially in large cities and highly urbanized regions. At the same time, this situation increases the risks of people being exposed to road traffic noise. The purpose of this research; to evaluate the noise level in primary and secondary schools selected in different locations in Elazığ Province. Noise measurements were made in selected sections of the building when the building was empty and occupied. As a result of the measurements, it was determined that the indoor noise levels of the schools were higher than the values specified in the regulation. It was determined outdoor noise levels were below the limit values specified only in Çubukbey Anatolian High School. In outdoor and indoor noise measurements, It has been determined that the noise levels of schools located in the center are higher than the noise levels of schools far from the city center. Considering the measurement results, when comparing school types at different levels of education and training, it was determined that the noise level of primary schools was different from the noise level of other schools. These findings; It shows that there is a need to determine noise levels in all school types and conduct studies on the selection of campuses in schools in the city center.
