Dijital Teknolojiler ve Çocuk: Bilişim Teknolojilerinin Erken ve Orta Yaş Dönemindeki Rolü

Information technologies, which have become an inevitable part of our age; While learning processes are effective on children's basic skills such as language, mathematics and problem solving, they also have significant effects on social skills. However, it should not be ignored that despite the potential of these interactive learning experiences provided by technology to increase children's motivation, excessive and uncontrolled use can lead to social isolation, distraction and many other negative consequences. In addition, the importance of training children with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate digital environments safely is increasing day by day. In this context, the study in question examines the integration of information technologies into early and middle childhood education and the effects of this integration on children's cognitive and social development. The study in question aims to develop applicable recommendations for parents and educators by addressing both the benefits and challenges of using technology in education. The study also aims to support children in establishing a healthy and balanced relationship with technology and to increase the development of both their academic and social skills. In this process, the main objective of the research was determined as providing solutions to the difficulties faced by parents and educators and ensuring that technology is used effectively and balancedly in the education of children.
