A Handful

Artist Statement\nI created this drawing for my Drawing I class, where I was introduced to the cross-hatching method. Through this technique, I aimed to physicalize emotion through the beauty and expressiveness of the human hand. The title, A Handful, represents not only the literal handful of hands shown, but also the handful of emotions and experiences behind each one.
