"Morte e Vida Uterina": perspectivas neobarrocas na canção de Paula Cavalciuk
This article proposes a dialogue permeated by neo-baroque perspectives between the song "Morte e Vida Uterina", by the singer and composer Paula Cavalciuk, and the poem "Morte e Vida Severina", by the Pernambuco poet João Cabral de Melo Neto. Thus, it briefly permeates the discussion on Comparative Literature in contemporary times and its mediating role that allows dialogue between literary texts and other human creations, such as cinema, painting, and music. In order to build this study, we based ourselves on authors such as Carvalhal (1991), Cecchetto (2011) and Coutinho (1996), as well as presenting some points about the Baroque and Neo-Baroque from the studies of Chiampi (2010), Ávila (1994), Sarduy (1987) and Carvalho (2012); to, then, enter into the analysis of the song and the poem.
