Entre el tiempo y el espacio: usos, variaciones y contrastes desde la fraseología histórica. Presentación

This introduction aims, on the one hand, to highlight the lack of academic engagement in the Nueva Gramática de la Lengua Española (both in its first edition [2009] and the revised and expanded version [2025]) with recent developments in the field of phraseology—particularly regarding the theoretical foundations for delimiting idiomatic expressions as syntactic units. On the other hand, this section also serves to present the scientific studies that comprise the thematic issue in which it is included.
