During the final days of World War II, Turkey experienced a significant shift in its foreign policy. Another factor contributing to this shift was the need to take precautions against the growing and expansionist policies of the Soviet Union. This study examines the San Francisco Conference, where Turkey decided its stance, and its effects. Foreign Minister Hasan Saka played a crucial role in shaping Turkish foreign policy throughout the stages of the conference. By participating in the San Francisco Conference, Turkey secured its place in the changing world. During this process, which laid the foundations for the establishment of the United Nations, the Turkish delegation, under the leadership of Hasan Saka, ensured Turkey's place in the international arena.
