The article identifies current trends in regional management of rural development in the conditions of digital transformation. It is found that current trends in social development are associated with digitalization, and without the use of digital technologies it is difficult to imagine modern relationships between business entities, including in agriculture. The latest research and publications on this topic regarding regional management of rural development in the conditions of digital transformation are analyzed. It is determined that digital transformation today is much more than just the introduction of digital technologies into various processes of rural development management, it is a fundamental change in the culture of management in the direction of digitalization, which penetrates all areas of management, activity and development of regions. The impact of digital transformation on regional rural development management is determined in terms of the main management functions, which include planning, organization, motivation and control. It is substantiated that the digitalization of regional rural development management makes it possible to create a common working environment in rural development planning with a high degree of quality of information and its processing, a vision of the current situation and the interaction of all participants in the planning process. In addition, digitalization makes it possible to ensure high-quality comprehensive integrated planning at the level of mutual coordination of state plans and programs, regional plans and development strategies, development plans of communities and their business entities. The creation of digital communication networks of different management levels makes it possible to establish close interaction of different structures and exchange of information. Due to information and communication technologies and the dissemination of information on the participation of communities in decision-making on rural development, it increases the motivation of citizens and business entities in achieving the results of the set plans and strategies. The introduction of digital technologies increases the efficiency of accounting and analysis of strategic directions of rural development due to the speed of information processing and its analysis. The role of digital transformation in the development of rural areas is highlighted.
