Standard vs Personalized Dosimetry in Radioembolization of Primary Liver Tumors: Does It Really Make a Difference?
The purpose of this study is to compare the clinical outcomes of two groups of patients with HCC treated with TARE: Group A: Treated with standard dosimetry. Group B: Treated with personalized dosimetry. Personalized dosimetry leverages advanced imaging techniques, such as SPECT/CT with 99mTc-MAA, to segment tumor and liver volumes accurately. This enables tailored radiation delivery, maximizing tumor dose while sparing healthy liver tissue.
