Os sistemas de Inteligência Artificial e o cumprimento dos fatores ESG: perspetiva do Direito das Sociedades

With technology dominating all sectors, Artificial Intelligence systems present themselves as an opportunity to improve processes and procedures and contribute to a better future. At the same time, they are accompanied by fears and concerns. We are therefore faced with an enormous challenge: knowing how to use a powerful tool in favour of a better world, regulating its use without strangling its potential, the limits of which are not yet known. In this article, we aim to understand whether the use of AI systems can contribute to sustainable development by helping managers make decisions to implement a government strategy based on principles of transparency, ethics and social and environmental responsibility, in fulfilment of the ESG factors and the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
