This paper provides a condensed review of the post 1980 macroeconomic\nadjustment in Turkey. The shift in output composition\nin favour of exportables is usually cited as a success case. The paper\nexplores the macro- economic implications of the attendant relative\nprice changes. Deficiencies in the fixed capital formation and\ndevelopments in the financial sphere are also considered.
