Habitar la ciudad de Tapachula, Chiapas. Presencia migrante haitiana a través del ambulantaje
In this article we discuss the presence of Haitian migrants traveling in the city of Tapachula, Chiapas. With the theoretical foundation of urban anthropology and ethnographic methodology, I approximate the reality of living conditions (tenants) and arrivals (extranjeros), in public and common spaces that consider negotiation points and social tension. It comes with the possibility of thinking about this multicultural city as a capital of migration and the development of hybrid or multilocal spaces that express a socio-cultural and spatial reconfiguration. Within the main halls, it is important to understand how migrations transform into the city and the need to replant analytical data on border spaces that are also not suitable for those that occur in human mobility situations.
