(gem)STONE FEMMES.: Una mirada femme-inista sobre la artificialidad, la objetualización y la sumisión en los imaginarios de la feminidad.
This article discusses contemporary accounts of femininity as a persistent problem in gender emancipation movements (feminist, lesbofeminist and queer). We propose to approachthese femininities from a feminist prism, specifically from their spaces of political, aesthetic and economic marginality: trans* femininities, the femininities of sex workers and submissive femi-ninities in BDSM contexts. In these territories of marginality, unresolved issues transversal to fem-inist analyses of femininity such as artificiality, objectification and passivity (stone) are identified, based on their apparent confrontation with the emancipatory project of hegemonic feminism. The text proposes a re-evaluation of femininity from femme existences and resistances, based oncultural and political analysis in its articulation with the new feminist materialisms, queer ap-proaches and radical theories of sex.
