Ética en la investigación económica y administrativa: análisis y necesidades en Colombia
The objective of this research is to reflect on the current state of ethics in research within the Economic and Administrative Sciences in Colombia through a critical review of the existing literature, identifying needs and potential areas of interest for disciplinary exploration. Using a qualitative and descriptive approach, and employing a systematic documentary review as the primary method, common elements for the development of Codes of Ethics in economic and administrative research were identified, highlighting the lack of a specific manual in these areas. An analysis of ethical codes and committees at a global level was conducted, with Australia standing out for its comprehensive approach to responsible scientific practices, and Brazil for the efforts of its Ministry of Science and Technology through the National Commission for Research Ethics. In Colombia, it was found that the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation has developed the Scientific Integrity Code, and research ethics committees are primarily led by universities. Finally, the relevance of ethics in educational research within the economic field is emphasized, highlighting the need to address these topics from a disciplinary perspective.
