El aprendizaje propedéutico como base para el éxito académico en los estudiantes del Instituto de Admisión y Nivelación de la UTM: Estrategias y desafíos
Preparatory learning is a foundation for students' academic success, as it helps prepare them for learning other subjects. The general objective of this article is to analyze the strategies implemented in preparatory learning at the UTM Admissions and Leveling Institute, identifying current challenges and proposing improvements that contribute to students' academic success. The methodology used consists of descriptive and exploratory research, a non-experimental and cross-sectional research design with a qualitative, hermeneutic, and historical-logical approach. It uses empirical methods from participant observation to analyze the dynamics of preparatory learning in its real-life context. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 35 teachers and 60 students to learn about their experiences and opinions on the strategies used. As a result, the interviews revealed that various strategies have been used to foster student motivation and maintain their interest in the academic content. These include the creation of interactive activities and the use of relevant examples and case studies to foster learning. In conclusion, the pedagogical strategies proposed in this research constitute a psychopedagogical intervention as a solution to the problem under study.
