Ein Modell für Triebwerksvibrationen zur Abschätzung von Lasten in der Pylon-Flügel-Schnittstelle

The DLR project INTONATE aims to develop a digital process for the assessment of cabin noise within future aircraft concepts during the early design stages. One important part of the process chain is the detailed characterization of vibration sources, which excite the aircraft structure, thus causing noise within the cabin. Besides the turbulent boundary layer, the jet-engines are one of the most prominent vibration sources on an aircraft. While there are state-of-the-art methods to calculate the acoustic emissions of jet-engines during relevant flight conditions, i.e. take-off, cruise and landing, this is not the case for operational vibrations of the jet-engines. So far mainly models for vibrations originating from blade-off events and the respective worst-case vibration loads or bearing mechanics can be found in the literature. This publication focuses on the development of a model for operational vibrations of jet-engines based on permissible unbalance forces. This model allows to calculate a set of forces in the pylon-wing interface which can be utilized as excitation for numerical models and experiments alike. The estimation of jet-engine vibration loads will increase the realism of excitation signals compared to simple random excitation signals for numerical and experimental application.
