Estrategia Innovadora para el Mejoramiento de la Corrección y Fluidez Lectora: Integración de Aplicaciones Online

Developing efficient reading requires readers to master reading accuracy and fluency, as these are components that facilitate rapid, accurate, and comprehensible reading. The objective of the study was to design an innovative strategy integrating online applications to improve reading accuracy and fluency in second-year elementary school students. The research was descriptive, non-experimental, and approached using a mixed-method approach. The population consisted of 115 elementary school students and nine teachers. The instruments used were a reading speed test, a reading comprehension sheet, and an interview. The results obtained indicate a lack of interest in reading and a low willingness to complete complementary activities. Similarly, students read slowly, inexpressively, omitting syllables or whole words, which hinders their comprehension. Given this reality, an innovative methodological strategy was designed based on online applications such as Canva, Educaplay, Canva, Bubbl, Genially, and YouTube. Its application will allow for the presentation of engaging readings, facilitate reading comprehension, strengthen student autonomy, and foster interpersonal relationships with peers and parents.
