Desarrollo de injerto de durazno oro azteca, diamante, prisco y criollo en vivero en jalacingo, veracruz, méxico
The work was carried out in 2024 in the town of Guadalupe Victoria, Jalacingo, Veracruz. The objective is to evaluate the growth and development of 4 peach varieties grafted on a peach creole rootstock from the region. The rootstock used was the creole of the region with an average plant height of 1 m, the rootstock was pruned to a height of 30 cm in the month of January and that same day the vareta graft (English graft) was performed. The treatments were Oro Azteca, Diamante, Prisco and Criollo peach rods from the region. The experimental design was completely randomized with 4 treatments and 20 replications using a plant as an experimental unit, analyses of variance and mean tests were performed by Tukey's method (P ≤ 0.05). The percentage of attachment ranged from 80% to 100%, the highest growth in length was of Prisco and the lowest in the control, without presenting statistical differences. The maximum number of leaves was in Aztec Gold and the lowest in the control with statistical differences. From the results obtained, it is concluded that the Prisco variety grafted on the Criollo rootstock presented the highest growth in grafting.
