Construyendo Vínculos Saludables: Neurociencia del Apego y las Relaciones Familiares
This research delves into the neuroscience of attachment and its impact on family relationships, highlighting how early experiences influence brain development and the quality of emotional bonds. The study examines key neurobiological systems involved, including the oxytocin system and the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, and reviews attachment styles and their effects on mental and emotional health throughout life. Additionally, it provides strategies to promote healthy and secure family relationships. The research employs both qualitative and quantitative methods, aiming to manage information and verify real outcomes. The study population consists of 70 students, with a sample of 25 from each group within the upper basic education section of an educational institution in Guayaquil, Ecuador. A survey will be used as the research instrument. The neuroscience of attachment provides a deep understanding of emotional development. Promoting healthy family bonds not only enhances individual well-being but also strengthens social cohesion. Integrating neuroscientific knowledge into family practices and mental health policies can have a lasting positive impact on future generations.
