Aprendizaje en Educación Física: Investigación proyectiva de Talleres Extracurriculares desde el Enfoque de Parkour

The objective of this projective research was to generate a proposal of extracurricular workshops of physical education from the parkour approach, directed to students of General Basic Education of a fiscal-comisional school located in the Province of Pichincha-Ecuador. The study was conducted during the 2023-2024 school year, with a field, cross-sectional and multi eventual design. A survey was applied to 81 students of 5th, 6th, and 7th grades, a physical education teacher and four authorities of the institution. Through descriptive analysis and basic statistics, the diagnosis reveals that the participating students possess the required physical capacities, although there are areas that need improvement, such as flexibility. In addition, it was determined that current teaching strategies are effective but limited in audiovisual resources. The implementation of extracurricular parkour workshops is feasible and could improve both the physical abilities and the personal and social development of the students, enhancing their well-being and academic performance. The proposal provides structured planning and audiovisual material for the understanding of the different parkour techniques, an important methodology for the training of students.
