An Apparatus for Controlling the Sr Clock Qubit
Arrays of optical tweezers loaded with neutral atoms have rapidly gained traction as a versatile and scalable architecture for quantum information processing. At Eindhoven University of Technology, we are developing a tweezer apparatus that allows control over single- and multi-qubit gates using the Sr clock qubit.

On the poster, we will present our recent experimental results of preparing single Sr atoms in our array of 5 x 5 optical tweezers. Spectroscopy measurements reveal an average tweezer depth of 0.51(2) mK and a standard deviation across of the array in the depth of 2.8%. Also shown are our first steps towards our two goals, which are site-resolved single-qubit operations using the ultranarrow 1S₀–3P₀ clock transition and implementing multi-qubit entangling gates via coherent excitation to Rydberg states using an ultraviolet laser.

Looking ahead, we aim to make this platform remotely accessible through the open platform Quantum Inspire, opening the door for broader experimentation and algorithm development within the community.
