Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos: Un enfoque educativo innovador para una enseñanza activa

Thearticle seeks to understand the impact of Project-Based Learning (PBL) as a different way of teaching, where students stop being passive listeners and become active participants. This approach allows you to develop skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, and autonomous learning. The problem it addresses is the persistence of traditional teaching methods, focused on repeating information, which do not prepare students to solve real problems or to face current demands. In addition, implementing PBL is not easy, as it requires teachers to be better prepared, content to be connected to meaningful projects, and adequate ways to assess learning. The study used a mixed methodological approach that combined a bibliographic review of constructivist theories and empirical studies with the application of structured surveys to students. The review included relevant academic sources to explore the fundamentals and applications of Project-Based Learning (PBL), while surveys assessed key dimensions such as collaboration, research, reflection, participation, and motivation. The data collected were statistically analyzed to identify trends and areas for improvement, highlighting practical and theoretical aspects of the impact of PBL in the educational context. The main result shows that PBL helps to learn better, since it connects what is studied with real situations, which motivates students. However, there is still a need to improve the use of technological tools and promote more spaces to reflect on mistakes and achievements.
