Análisis de las narrativas de mujeres universitarias sobre violencia de género
This research addresses gender violence by combining Taekwondo with narrative therapy. Taekwondo stands out not only for its physical benefits, such as strengthening and self-defense, but also for its ability to reduce aggression and improve psychological well-being, promoting personal empowerment. Narrative practices, for their part, offer a framework to question and redefine gender narratives that perpetuate violence. Their integration seeks to address both the psychological and physical dimensions of empowerment, allowing participants to rewrite their personal stories and adopt non-violent behaviors. The objective was to analyze the narratives that emerge regarding the experience of gender violence in university women when participating in a workshop-conversation where the practice of Taekwondo and narrative practices are integrated. The study was carried out using a qualitative approach of narrative design and exploratory scope, through the semi-structured interview as a guide to the focus group activity with female college students between the ages of 18 and 22. Regarding the results of this activity, nine categories of analysis emerged based on content saturation. Taekwondo can be a useful tool to address gender violence and promote equality and respect between genders.
