Análise cientométrica e bibliométrica da produção científica sobre concreto com materias alternativos

The cement consumption has triggered a series of environmental problems related to its production. However, an environmentally friendly way to minimize this impact is by using coal fly ash from coal combustion, as it has pozzolanic properties that can partially replace cement. This research aimed to use scientific mapping techniques to identify the occurrence of the topic "concrete with coal fly ash" published in journals from 2020 to 2024. From a methodological perspective, the study employs bibliometric and scientometric techniques to identify the key characteristics of scientific article production using the VOSviewer software, based on data extracted from the Web of Science platform. The results allowed for the identification of the most frequently occurring words, as well as the authors with the highest number of publications in the field and co-authorships among them. The main result showed that the keyword "fly ash" had the highest number of occurrences, and among the countries with the highest number of publications, China accounted for almost all of the articles published during the evaluated period. It was concluded that the bibliometric analysis was effective in identifying the importance of the topic and, thus, mapped the structure of recent scientific knowledge on the use of fly ash in construction.

From a methodological perspective, the study employs bibliometric and scientometric techniques to identify the key characteristics of scientific article production using the VOSviewer software, based on data extracted from the Web of Science platform. It was concluded that the bibliometric analysis was effective in identifying the importance of the topic and, thus, mapped the structure of recent scientific knowledge on the use of fly ash in construction.
