In What Ways can Digital Media be Used as a Resource in Religious Education?
Digital media has become integrated into education and is now a significant part of teaching. It offers valuable opportunities for learning and developing critical thinking skills. Previous research highlights how digital media can be engaging and motivating for students, as it allows them to meet their individual needs without unnecessary complications. At the same time, digital media can have negative effects, such as overdependence on accessible tools, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) which may lead to a decline in personal skills. This examination focuses on prior research regarding the use of digital media in education, as well as an exploration of its potential benefits and limitations. The findings of this study indicate that the use of digital media is a controversial topic, presenting both advantages and challenges. It is recommended that digital media be employed with careful planning and consideration to avoid misuse that could hinder, rather than enhance, the educational process.
