Void Deformation Theory
We present an extended cosmological framework, Void Deformation Theory (BΔ Theory) ¹, in which spacetime geometry emerges dynamically from vacuum expectation values (VEVs) of four determinant scalar fields. Beyond the original construction, we propose an epistemic substrate beneath the scalar configuration, introducing informational tension gradients that play a constitutive role in shaping geometry and temporal directionality. This extended interpretation bridges physical emergence with ontological grounding, offering an enriched formalism to unify spacetime genesis, dark energy dynamics, and quantum structure modulation. BΔ Theory not only introduces a mathematically consistent model but also reflects a deeper philosophical stance: that geometry itself may arise from information-carrying proto-fields embedded in a pre-geometric substrate. This resonates with the view that physical laws are emergent, not imposed. We outline a research roadmap, including the derivation of cosmological solutions, analysis of perturbations, and integration with the Standard Model. While we acknowledge challenges such as non-renormalizability, BΔ Theory presents a testable, conceptually rich framework bridging cosmology, dark energy, and the emergence of spacetime. Beyond its mathematical structure, BΔ Theory embodies a philosophical stance: that geometry, rather than being imposed, emerges as an epiphenomenon of structured nothingness.
