КЛАСИФІКАЦІЇ ВІЙСЬКОВО-БОЙОВИХ ТРАДИЦІЙ

Various classifications of military traditions are considered, which make it possible to reveal their complex and multilevel character, thanks to which, the strength and vitality of these traditions are preserved, the best of which are passed down from previous to next generations for centuries. Classification of military combat traditions was carried out according to various criteria: according to the degree of commonality among military traditions; according to the degree of stability; military combat traditions based on the criterion of the level of existence; according to the specific field of their application; by the bearers of military traditions (traditions of officers, ensigns, sergeants and privates); by spheres of relationships and relations between military personnel (relations of combat activities; relations in everyday training; relations of military life); according to the criterion of the degree of regulatory consolidation; according to their impact on strengthening the combat capability of the Armed Forces. The results of the study: 1) reveals the strength and vitality of traditions, which determines the need to rethink their key role in the life of society and the army, to educate both servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and youth in them; 2) it is emphasized that military traditions, embodying the exploits of previous generations of Ukrainian soldiers, become a powerful moral reference point for the current generation of defenders of the Motherland; 3) analyzing the strength and vitality of Cossack traditions, a number of means and forms of Cossack education that can be implemented in educational practice have been determined. Thus, humanism becomes an integral basis for preserving military traditions in society, thanks to which, as historical experience attests, it becomes possible to preserve higher moral values that determine the spiritual progress of society even in wartime. Various classifications of military traditions make it possible to reveal their complex and multilevel nature. It helps to preserve the strength and vitality of these traditions, the best of which have been passed down from previous to subsequent generations for centuries. The integral spiritual basis for preserving and enriching military traditions in society is humanism. As historical experience shows, this makes it possible to preserve the highest moral values that determine the spiritual progress of society even in times of war.
