This article explores the current scenario of the fashion industry, using different indicators to understand its impact on the environment. With strong pressure on companies and individuals to change their habits and adapt the necessary sustainability efforts, measures are already in place to encourage a green fashion industry. These initiatives can be seen through alternative textiles, new production technologies and sustainable marketing. With promising new solutions emerging, it is time to act and mobilise action to reshape the fashion industry and mitigate its environmental impacts on the planet.
