Tendencias investigativas en innovación social aplicada al sector rural: un análisis bibliométrico

This study analyzes research trends around social innovation in the rural sector, highlighting its relevance for sustainable development. A bibliometric analysis is applied using a search equation in Scopus, which yielded 185 records. Bibliometric indicators of quantity, quality, and structure are presented. The results reveal an exponential growth in the topic, with the highest production in Italy, the United Kingdom, and Spain, while Colombia is the only emerging economy that stands out. It is concluded that research trends prioritize sustainability and social enterprises, with emerging areas such as impact evaluation, agriculture, and social capital.
