Supressão da forrageira BRSIpyporã com doses de imazetapir + imazapique
The objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of the ready-made mixture of imazetapyr + imazapique on the interspecific hybrid of Urochloa BRS Ipyporã. In this context, two tests were conducted: in a greenhouse, four doses (0; 0.35; 0.70 and 1.4 L pc ha-1) of the ready-made mixture of imazetapyr + imazapique (Zelone®, UPL, Brazil) were tested. ) applied at the one and two tiller stages of the forage; In the field, eight doses(0; 0.0438; 0.0873; 0.175; 0.35; 0.7; 1.05 and 1.40 L pc ha-1) of herbicides were tested on forage. The highest doses caused the greatest phytotoxicity in both trials. In a greenhouse, the photosynthetic rate, ambient carbon concentration, number of tillers and leaves and the masses of leaves, stems, roots and rhizomes were affected by the mixture of products. Apart from ambient carbon concentration, all other variables showed the same behavior, being reduced with increasing doses. The responses depending on the doses showed a decreasing linear behavior. Under field conditions, the mixture of herbicides did not change the variables analyzed in the forage. In a greenhouse, the potential doses were 0.7 and 1.4 L pc ha-1, respectively, for one and two tillers, respectively, and the forage showed greater tolerance when the application was made with two tillers. In the field trial, the commercial dose of 1.4 L pc ha-1showed better potential for use. However, more work is needed to position the ready-made mixture of imazethapyr + imazapique to suppress forage growth.
