Subjetividades disonantes: experiencias vividas en la práctica del Trabajo Social desde la perspectiva de la disidencia sexual y de género en Cartagena de Indias
This article examines the experiences of social workers in the field of social intervention in the city of Cartagena, addressing the perspective of Sexual and Gender Dissidence. Through a group of professionals who graduated from the Social Work program at the University of Cartagena, the aim is to identify sociocultural influences, uncover mediations and resistances, and reflect on how the heteropatriarchal context contributes to the reproduction or problematization of hegemonic discourses in professional intervention. Breaking away from binary and subordinate logic allows for the recognition of diverse forms of expression from bodies and desires, enabling the discussion of sexual dissidences as a dynamic category that challenges heteronormative order in society. It is crucial to reconsider the praxis of social work to ensure a more dissonant, emancipatory, and transformative intervention.
