Sensibilidades y emociones. La vida cotidiana de mujeres encarceladas en Zacatecas
As part of my master’s degree research in Social Anthropology, during 2022-2024 I conducted an ethnography at the Women’s Social Reinsertion Center (CERESO) in the state of Zacatecas in which I traced some analytical routes around the experiences of imprisonment; Thus, in this article I discuss that it is in everyday life where the expe-riences of imprisonment make sense, since I argue that imprisonment itself should not only be dimensioned under penal explanations, but that the experience itself is developed, in parallel, through affections and emotions, hence I understand that the prison space is composed of a set of sensibilities, senses and emotions
