Robotar på ronden? : En fallstudie om läkares AI-acceptans på Akademiska sjukhuset

This study aims to investigate the factors that influence acceptance and resistance among physicians at Akademiska sjukhuset. The study is based on a qualitative approach, with empirical data collected through semi-structured interviews with practicing physicians at the hospital. The data was analyzed using an analytical model developed from theories related to technological acceptance. The results of the study show that the four factors derived from the TOE and TAM2 frameworks influence whether physicians are likely to accept or resist an AI tool. Furthermore, the study concludes that the most important factor in implementing AI is the patient. Physicians’ acceptance fundamentally stems from how an AI tool improves care for their patients. The findings of the study are significant in enhancing the understanding of the factors that must be considered when implementing AI at Akademiska sjukhuset and should be seen as an initial insight into physicians’ perspectives on AI in healthcare. In summary, the study contributes insights to existing research on perceptions of AI in healthcare among medical professionals.
