Reconstrucción faringoesofágica mediante colgajo pectoral mayor por fístula faringocutánea
Total laryngectomy is a procedure of high morbidity for the patient, which increases when the tissues are previously irradiated and the risk of presenting post-surgical complications, requiring a type of reconstruction in the case of presenting the complication of a pharyngocutaneous fistula. Male, 62 years old, who began his current condition 6 months prior to his admission when he presented dysphonia, hoarseness and dyspnea, underwent a total laryngectomy plus bilateral neck dissection for laryngeal carcinoma, one month later he presented pharyngocutaneous fistula so it was decided to reconstruct the pharyngoesophageal by right pectoralis major flap, with adequate aesthetic and functional results to date.
