A propósito de locuciones prepositivas en la literatura medieval del siglo XIV (Libro del caballero Zifar)

This work of historical phraseology analyses a series of locutionary prepositional combinations of causal, final, temporal and local meaning from a representative literary work of the 14th century, the Libro del caballero Zifar (The Book of the Knight Zifar). The study of the linguistic processes that have affected these structures will make it possible to check whether they are in the process of grammatical and lexical fixation in this century or, on the contrary, whether they have already become prepositional locutions proper at this early date, as could be the cases of por culpa de, por razón de, en derredor de, a la hora de, a servicio de, en tierra de, a honra de, a pro y a honra de, en guarda de, con intención de, con voluntad de.... Furthermore, the comparison of these structures with those found in medieval chronicles and notarial documentation also from the Middle Ages will facilitate the recognition of the similarities and differences between the structures of different textual types.
