Por una revolución transexual de los afectos.: Literatura y filosofía en Mario Mieli

This article examines Mario Mieli’s proposal in Il risveglio dei faraoni (1983, 1994), positing a «transsexual revolution of affects» as a means of transcending binary categories and dismantling patriarchal and capitalist structures. To this end, it will address transsexuality as a political concept that challenges binary norms and the logics of capitalism, while exploring the interrelations between revolutionary Marxism and utopian messianism in the novel. It will also analyze how this perspective enables an ethical reconfiguration of relationships. Finally, it will reflect on the role of speculative fiction as a tool for conceiving collective futures in which bodies and desires are liberated from the dominant cisheterosexist and productivist categories.
