Programa Cognitivo Conductual para la Prevención de la Nomofobia en Estudiantes de una Institución Educativa Pública Peruana

The overarching goal of this research endeavor was to implement a Cognitive Behavioral Program aimed at preventing nomophobia among students at the Ramón Castilla Educational Institution in the Luya district. A mixed-methods approach was adopted, encompassing both qualitative and quantitative data collection methodologies. The research design was pre-experimental, involving two distinct phases: pre-intervention and post-intervention assessments. The target population consisted of 60 students from both genders enrolled in the 4th and 5th grades of secondary school. Data collection was conducted using the TDM questionnaire, an instrument validated by four experts with a reliability coefficient of 0.902, indicating its suitability for the study. To analyze the results of the pre-test and post-test, the non-parametric Wilcoxon test was employed due to the non-normality of the data. The findings revealed that the program effectively reduced (p=0.000) nomophobia symptoms among adolescents, demonstrating the program's efficacy.
