O papel da escola na luta de classes

The article describes the role of schools in class society, its alienating role, but it can also be transformative. As a research problem, we have the following question: What is the role of schools in the class struggle? Thus, our general objective is to analyze the role of schools in class society. To do this, we used the method of historical materialism, as we believe it is capable of explaining the contradictions present in society. As results obtained, we observed that schools are seen as an instrumentof the bourgeoisie, which maintains social inequalities and production relations. Finally, it was noted that even though they are an ideological apparatus of the State, schools can be a stage for class struggle towards comprehensive education from the perspective of omnilaterality.
