Percepción de la inseguridad: estudio introductorio cualitativo en zona Volcanes

This article constitutes the advance of research on the perception of safety/insecurity in the volcanoes area of the eastern zone of the State of Mexico, it is a qualitative study, the research techniques of probing, interview and observation were used. Among the main findings found is the trust between neighbors, which is still present in the communities, the perception of security in their localities and a negative assessment of municipal public security institutions, since there is still little trust in the municipal police, in addition to having the perception that they only patrol the streets.
