O território indígena Potiguara da Paraíba e os efeitos do agronegócio

This article is a synthesis of the master's research in the Graduate Program in Social Work, presented and published in the annals of the V SINESPP 2024 on "ETH-NOKNOWLEDGE AND AGRIBUSINESS: a study in the Potiguara indigenous territory of Paraíba". The objective is to express the process of expropriation of the Potiguara Land from the perspective of expanded Social (De)Protection, on the north coast of Paraíba, based on the impacts and manifestations caused by the introduction of agribusiness. It is noteworthy that the preliminary data of the research from the qualitative research in-volved by the method of dialectical historical materialism point to the field of social un-protectionthrough the process of expropriation that occurs in the Potiguara lands of Pa-raíba and means the reduction of the multidimensional dimension of the territory, of the multiple types of practices and relations, focusing on the rupture of symbolic and cultural bonds, of the corporeality of the place and the rites, configuring itself in ethnogencide.
