PLACE AND ROLE OF THE FUNDAMENTALS OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN SPECIALIZED TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION FOR SENIOR STUDENTS

The article examines the importance of introducing the basics of entrepreneurship to the specialized technological training of high school students. The problem of the formation of entrepreneurial competence in high school students, as well as creative thinking and responsibility, is considered. The main attention is paid to what role entrepreneurship plays in high school students in further looking at the realities of the labour market and the development of their own career trajectory. The modern economy requires young people not only to have in-depth knowledge in selected professional fields but also entrepreneurial skills that allow them to adapt to rapid changes in the labour market. Economic and social changes cause high requirements for the training of young people who are able to independently create new opportunities and effectively manage their own projects. Entrepreneurship should occupy a prominent place in the educational program of specialized technological training, which is focused on the formation of relevant skills necessary not only for running a business but also for successful self-realization in other spheres of life. Proposals are made to update the content of the current technology program for high school students majoring in “Entrepreneurship”. Technological training of high school students, combined with the basics of entrepreneurship, should become an effective tool for preparing future workers for modern economic challenges.
