Pesquisando Identidade(s): um itinerário em construção a partir das narrativas de história de vida
This article sought to share the production of new social technologies in Critical Social Psychology. In this context, weaving a praxis committed to transforming reality and understanding subjects as being, at the same time, products and producers of their stories, Ciampa (1986) formulated the concept of Identity as a process of metamorphosis with possibilities of emancipation. By moving away from imported numbers, percentages, rulers, and compasses, this perspective loosened the Brazilian population from explanations created by theories, imported until today, that transform us into the "other," not of "understanding," but of formulas enshrined in the countries of the so-called First World, thus reflecting a certain (dis)consideration for autochthonous productions, produced by "us." Developing the research method "narratives of life history and future project", the study on Identity resulted in the understanding of a phenomenon that is not fixed or immutable but as a process in transformation and constantly renewed construction, fundamental for the apprehension of possibilities and impossibilities of becoming a subject in contemporary society.
