Optimal Monetary and Fiscal Policies: A Survey

This paper is a survey of the optimal taxation to the study of aggregate monetary \nand fiscal policy. In particular, the optimal financing of government's budget \nwith either money creation, inflation tax revenue, and/or ordinary taxes has been \nstudied in various literature. My goal is limited to present some important studies \nwith sufficient clarity to reveal their main content and their relationship with \nother parts of economic literature.
