Mimogram. The Mastery of the Actor (1926) by Stepan Bondarchuk for Contemporary Theatre Practitioners

The textbook “Mimogrammar. The Mastery of the Actor” is based on a little-known development by Stepan Bondarchuk in 1926, dedicated to the practical and methodological principles of acting. The actor, director, and teacher S. Bondarchuk is known as a student, companion, and apologist of Les Kurbas's “system of figurative transformation”. It is his development that should now become an important source of information for the formation of a modern acting methodology, the need for which has become acute and has become a cornerstone of the artistic space since the beginning of Russian military aggression in Ukraine.
