Los Stukas de Belchite: desmontando mitos

A brief investigation is presented on the performance of the prototype aircraft called Stukas in the Spanish Civil War that the Condor Legion experienced in combat against the Popular Bloc, pointing out their indirect participation in the Zaragoza town of Belchite. With this, we intend to dismantle some myths about the destruction of Belchite by the National forces along with these planes or the incorporation of the sound device known as the “Trumpet of Jericho” with which these aircraft models were identified at the time of making a dive bombing.
