Los embalses como propaganda durante el franquismo: el caso del embalse de Iznájar y su territorio en la frontera del reino de Granada

The article aims, through the specific study of the Iznájar reservoir, to delve into the sociocultural consequences of the construction of said reservoir. To do this, the construction and «post-construction» process that the neighbors experienced is exposed. All of this will allow us to put an end to the idealized vision of Franco's hydraulic works, showing the true social, environmental and economic impact on the affected areas. In this way we will try to conclude by exposing the discrepancies between the vision that the Franco regime had about its hydraulic policy and what said policy truly meant for those who were most directly affected.
