Luca Ronconi e la direzione del Teatro di Roma
Drawing on archival documentation, it focuses on this phase of his career, highlighting the role of Maria Annunziata Gioseffi (known as Nunzi), a collaborator who supported the director in managing a permanent theatre. It also explores the laboratory-driven vision that, with her arrival in Rome, culminated in the successful production of Verso Peer Gynt by Ibsen. Through a historical reconstruction, the article aims to outline Ronconi’s concept of a teatro stabile.
