The research addresses an issue affecting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the canton of Quevedo, emphasizing the critical importance of implementing effective leadership to build teams capable of tackling organizational challenges holistically. Inspirational leadership, as a tool for knowledge innovation, drives sustainable business development and enhances competitiveness in the market. Within a framework that ensures results with integrity, the study aims to analyze how inspirational leadership influences the sustainable development of SMEs, assess the level of knowledge on the subject, and define strategies to optimize administrative productivity in various areas, promoting efficiency in financial decision-making to increase profitability and revenue. The research adopts a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies through fieldwork, and employs descriptive and analytical methods such as analysis, deduction, induction, and historical logic. An interview guide and a questionnaire will be developed for data collection, which will subsequently be tabulated and analyzed for discussion.
