La política internacional vista a través del humor gráfico de la prensa diaria durante la transición española: de espaldas al mundo (1974-1977)
The graphic humor of the daily press constitutes a field of study relatively little studied by the Communication Sciences, despite its popularity and its relevance, since it allows to analyze the prejudices and perceptions of the present existing in a given historical context. This article specifically analyzes the cartoons on international politics published in the main Spanish newspapers (ABC, El Alcázar, Informaciones, La Vanguardia and Ya) during the Transition to Democracy. These graphic editorials focused on episodes such as the Sahara crisis or the Carnation Revolution in Portugal. The cartoonists use the criteria of geographical proximity and the involvement of Spain for the selection of their agenda setting.
